(The Fashion Arts Xchange) honored Photographer Anthony Barboza with their “Career of Excellence” Award in honor of Juneteenth. The award was presented to Mr. Barboza by the Founder of the F.A.X. foundation, Gwenveria Sargeant and F.A.X.’s honoree Constance White (Editor-in-Chief of ESSENCE magazine. The ceremony was held at the Brant Park Hotel in New York City, and included a fashion show featuring the work of Designers, Franklin Rowe, Karen Borgella and Daisy Malone. Following the festivities including, the F.A.X. fashion show, speeches and a screening of an interview/retrospective of Mr. Barboza’s work arrange by Kenneth Sargeant, the evening was concluded by an after party held at The Sky Room Lounge, Times Square.
