” The Fop! “

“The Fop!: a Character Portrait of Draco Adollphus B”  is Multimedia Artist Danica C. Barboza’s latest sculpture of The Great Draco B.

This strikingly Life-Size figure, entirely hand-sculpted by the artist,is glazed in a narrative color spectrum of contemporary magazine clippings.

Flanked by a swirling arrangement of  ca. 18th Century styled textile/architectural decor (appropriate to its title), the image of Draco Adollphus B is brought to life through his carefully rendered mid-motion pose, cutting a dramatically down-cast likeness of the iconic Draco B as he strides towards his expectant viewers.
