On display at FIRST CONTINENT’S Exhibition Space in Baltimore (500 W Franklin St, Baltimore, MD 21201) the new exhibition, Mutiny in Heaven, specially curated by artist Valerie Keane features sculptures, installations and performances by artist:

Running March 26th to April 23rd (opening reception March 26th, from 7pm-9pm) Keane’s Exhibition features young female artists whose work portray themes ‘multiples’ in interplay with current pop-culture, cybernetics, and the online portrayals of identity (or identities). Thematic inspiration for Keane’s show, Mutiny in Heaven, is drawn from the work and writing of British Philosopher/Cultural Theorist, Sadie Plant (author of Ones + Zeros: Digital Woman and the New Technoculture, 1997) and the Cybernetics Research Unit, of Warwick, UK.
